Today at the ITP 3 a group of girls between grades eight and ten visited the institute for the Girl'sDay 2024 to learn how to program a quantum computer. After they had been introuced to the important concepts of quantum mechanics they could try their hand at programming a (future) quantum computer using the QRydDemo circuit designer.
During the day the girls also had a chance to visit the labs of the 5th Institute of Physics, where currently a prototype quantum computer is being built.
