The Physics Magazine featured a recent work from ITP III members Lucas V. Pupim and Mathias Scheurer. The magazine's article "Route to Altermagnetic Superconductivity" summarizes to a broader audience the paper "Adatom engineering magnetic order in superconductors: Applications to altermagnetic superconductivity". The work discusses how to obtain superconductivity with magnetic properties by placing non-magnetic atoms on the surface of a superconductor. In addition, the paper was selected as an Editors' Suggestion, a feature awarded to about one in six Letters that are judged "to be particularly important, interesting, and well written".
