Research in the Büchler Group
The research topics of the Büchler group are the exploration of quantum many-body phenomena in systems realized with cold atomic and molecular gases as well as photons interacting with matter.
Research in the Scheurer Group
The research of the Scheurer group deals with the theoretical description of the emergent phenomena that arise in interacting quantum many-body systems as a result of competing interactions, disorder, and topology. We use analytical as well as numerical techniques and explore the potential of machine-learning to address problems of many-body physics.
